Antenatal Care
Care during your pregnancy

Antenatal Care
Care during your pregnancy
Care during your pregnancy, may be all that you require from me, that’s ok.
During our antenatal appointments I will focus on providing you with a safe space so you may feel heard and supported at each visit. I will check on your physical and emotional wellbeing, checking your body, heart and soul are coping well with the pregnancy.
In my role as a Private Midwife I can provide you with referrals for blood tests and ultrasounds, and a prescription should you require. During your pregnancy my aim is to empower and inform you to make the choices that suit you and your family, for the imminent birth and the meeting of your baby. As you head into the third trimester, if desired, I can work with you and your partner to show you the benefits of preparing your body and making space for baby in preparation for birth.
Woman Centred Care means YOU are at the centre of this journey

All homebirths require a second midwife, this will be discussed during our first appointment, as will any limitations of practice and boundaries that need to be recognised for safe practice.

At the end of our time together, I offer you a little ceremony at home, this ceremony sees the end of this transition and a bringing you back from the expansiveness of birth.
